Store Reopening: All You Need To Know!
It's the news we've all been waiting for! We have been truly humbled by the sheer volume of enquiries into our store reopening and are over the moon to announce that we reopen to the public on Monday (06/07/2020). We have waited until now as we wanted to ensure we have a safe environment for our staff and customers. Our store will be open via APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please read our five simple steps below to find out more.
We will be updating this page as the situation develops and our understanding of how we can operate improves.
Research products in advance on our website and call us to book an appointment. You will be given a half hour or one hour time slot depending on the amount of items you have registered interest in.
Our phone number is 01273 772222 - please be patient, we expect a high volume of calls!
Appointments are available
Monday - Friday
Arrive at the time you have been allocated. For us to run this effectively we ask that you show up on time. Only one customer will be allowed in the store at any time, we ask that you arrive alone but should you wish to bring an accompanying adult they will have to wait outside - you will of course be allowed to stand in the doorway to show them products. We will need to enforce the time limit allocated to each customer (as much as we love chatting to you all!) so we do not disappoint anyone.
You will be invited into the store at your allocated time. A mask will be provided but you're welcome to bring your own. Masks must be worn at all times. All customers must also use hand sanitiser which will be made available upon entering the store. We are unable to accommodate those who are unable or not willing to follow this protocol.
If you wish to try on a helmet you will be provided with a disposable balaclava to wear. If you wish to try on a pair of gloves you will be asked to reapply hand sanitiser. We will have plastic slip on foot protectors for trying on footwear. Products will be quarantined by us after they have been tried on by a customer. Our changing rooms will be open and disinfected after each use.
When paying for your items there will be a plastic screen separating you from the member of our team who is serving you. There will be a £45 contactless limit, you will need to enter your PIN for any amount above this. Card payments are preferable however we are accepting cash. If paying by cash you will be asked to wear disposable gloves and count the cash yourself before it is placed in an envelope and handed to a member of the Team.
Things to keep in mind:
- We will have no refreshments or facilities available - sorry!
- Changing rooms are open as normal and will be disinfected after every use.
- Social distancing is to be observed at all times.
- We love having you in our shop but we have to be strict on time allocations.
- You cannot bring another adult in to the store with you.
- We would prefer it if you did not attend with a child but if this is unavoidable you must hold the child's hand at all times and they must not wander freely.
- We are still operating as usual online and recommend you order online whenever possible.
- We are unable to accommodate those who are unable or not willing to follow this protocol.
- PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS OR FEEL AT ALL UNWELL.
Q: Can I bring someone with me to help me choose an item?
A: We are a small store so can only accommodate one customer at one time however you are welcome to step outside to model the clothes. All accompanying adults must stay outside the store.
Q: Why are you not opening on Saturday?
A: We have only just reopened our doors and we need to understand how the new rules will work for us before we open on a busy day. We are of course open online as usual and offer free shipping on orders over £50. We also offer free returns on orders over £100.
Q: Can you order an item in for me?
A: Please brief us on the products you are interested in when booking an appointment, we cannot guarantee stock of all items and, although we will do our best to accommodate your needs, we are unable to facilitate 'buy to try' in our store.
Q: Can I use your toilet?
A: No, sorry, we are unable to open our facilities at this time.
Q: Will tea, coffee and complimentary snacks still be available?
A: No, we are unable to offer this at the moment.
