Retro motorcycle goggles as worn by Steve McQueen in the ISDT International Six Day Trials and Mojave Desert Races. Classic safety motorcycle or scooter goggles which look fantastic with both modern and 60's or 70's helmet styles. The Chronosoft goggle is extremely popular with classic bikers because it looks just like the goggle that racers wore back in the fifties, yet it is right up there as a piece of protective equipment. They come with a double-lens system and Bollé’s equaliser system to prevent moisture build-up. They look great worn on top of an open face helmet and you can wear them under or over the helmet itself, although the fit on the face will be a bit better if you wear the strap over your head.

Please note: These Bolle goggles do not fit into the aperture on Biltwell Gringo helmets as they are too wide. Frame dimensions are 16cm x 9.5cm.

The best goggle!

Thought a bit dodgy with the white dot but it stops fogging apparently. Looks wicked on my Hedon. Will post pics Café Racer people!

These are so true to the goggles I've seen Steve McQueen wearing in old photos. Pretty different to any other modern goggles and really work well as none of the frame gets in your view.

The plus side is these goggles work well. They don't steam up and the peripheral vision is good as you are going to get with goggles. I originally bought aviators from another retailer but in my opinion they are lethal so don't go near them. Although an excellent fit and size they are dangerous especially in town. I wanted goggles we I usually try and ride with an open-face on all my bikes from my 35 year old XL600 up my XJR1300 but occasionally you get caught in the rain so needed. The open face I use is a Premier and on Saturday I had a two hour ride to Bath Racecourse. They were great even in heavy rain but the problem is they are just too large and the helmet constantly shoved them down on my nose which ended up after just twenty minutes being too painful to carry on. Maybe they will fit larger open face but in the end I had to give up and put my full face on. Shame. So buy before you try.
