How To Measure Helmets

1. Measure the circumference of your head. Wrap a measuring tape around the widest part of your head, usually about 1cm above the tops of your ears and take the measurement at the forehead. it's usually best if you get a friend to assist you with this.

2. Once you have your head circumference in CM and inches, head over to the size guide and choose your most appropriate size. Remember, it's just a rough guide! If you have any questions, queries or doubts, give us a buzz and we can chat you through specific fittings from brand to brand.

3. Once you've got your fresh new lid in your hands, you're going to want to make sure it is a good fit before you take it for a test ride. New helmets should be snug right from the start, but it is important there are no pressure points or pain anywhere on your head. While a new lid will take a little while to mould to your head, it shouldn't cause you any grief. On the flip side, if your new helmet slides side to side, or you can get your fingers underneath the forehead really easily, then it's too big. If in doubt, keep the helmet on for a good 10 to 20 minutes and you'll know if it's right for you.

4. Make sure you're happy with the fit and feel of your new helmet before removing any tags or throwing out the original packaging. If you need to send it back, we can't accept a return without these bits. Just a heads up!
