Very good indeed.

These jeans are well constructed of heavy denim material and with the lining they feel substantial and strong. The cut of the legs is quite slim and they are fairly snug even on my skinny old legs, This is a good thing actually as it keeps the knee armour in the correct position to protect the patella in the event of a spill. The CE level 2 armour itself feels a bit strange if you're not used to it and it does make the jeans harder to take off when the ride is over, but the protection offered is worth it.

Sizing is generous. I ordered my usual 32 waist size, but there is still a little bit of room for me to regain some of the weight I've lost in recent times... Having tried both 32 and 30 in a local shop before ordering on line, I know I could have got into the 30 too. For me this is unheard-of for several decades! However, the legs were a bit narrower as well, so I stuck with 32 and I've not been sorry.

I can't attest to the overall waterproofness of these jeans as I haven't yet ridden in prolonged rain while wearing them. But a short heavy shower the other week certainly didn't get through them or even soak the fabric, so the water-repellent treatment seems to do its stuff as claimed.

The only slight adverse comment I can make is that they're a little too toasty in very warm weather, but conversely they'll be fine in more moderate or even chilly temperatures.

Just one question – why is the fob pocket with its waterproof zip on the left rather than the more usual right? Not a deal-breaker, but just curious...

All in all I'm pleased with my purchase.

Good quality riding jeans

Good quality overall. Look and feel waterproof, but not had a chance to try in the rain yet. Good fit; only downside is inside leg is too short at 32" (don't seem to do a longer size).
