Believe the hype!

Can't overstate how happy I am with these. Have been saving for the featherbed K ever since everyone and their dog picked up the Motorpool. Knowing you're covered for the slide by the added kevlar is a great peice of mind and also feels like you real safety features for your money, not just a great pair of jeans for the city. Kneepads are comfy to walk and ride in although the hip pads do give me a certain ancient fertility symbol look. Comfort on the bike wise, the inserts are barely noticeable and you get a full range of movement, those ribbed sections are so well designed. The jeans themselves look and feel great and have barely been off since I bought them, can't wait to see how nicely grubby I can get them this year. The kevlar lining gives a great wind buffer for the Scottish spring winds and feels like you'd be fairly well aired apart from on the hottest days. On the fit, I'm 6"3, 13st with squaddie thighs and wear a 32/34 in Levis, ordered both the 34 and 32 to compare and kept the 32. Uglybros suggest a size up for the perfect fit but I'd say go with your normal fit.

Overall these are a premium product at a premium price, great safety features and ergonomics, worth the investment and look fantastic.
