The Merlin Oakford waterproof trousers are a stylish and protective motorcycle trouser made from Merlin's signature 8oz Cotec fabric, developed with Halley Stevensons who produce the silk wax cotton used by Belstaff and Barbour. The 8oz Cotec fabric has better safety performance than silk wax, is lighter and also more breathable. The Oakford trosuers have cowhide leather reinforcements at the ankle and hip for added abrasion resistance as well as a jean to jacket connecting zipper to stop your jacket riding up in the event of an accident. The Reissa Active waterproof and breathable membrane will keep you dry and there is also a removable Outlast climate control lining to keep you warm. The Oakford waterproof trousers come with D30 knee armour and have pockets for hip armour which is available seperately.
