The term ‘Vroom By The Sea Limited t/a The Cafe Racer or us or we or our’ refers to the owner of the website. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website. The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:

We endeavour to display products as accurately as possible however we cannot guarantee that your equipment will accurately reflect the colour of the product delivered.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of our website at all times some prices and information may change from time to time and it is possible that errors may occur. We cannot be accountable for any losses incurred.

We cannot accept any liability for any particular material on our website for any use or reliance placed upon the information therein.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you purchase a helmet that conforms to your local safety standards. 

Any material downloaded or obtained through the use of our website is done so at your own discretion and risk.

All content and information on the website, including, without limitation, text, graphic, trademarks and images are our property or the property of their respective owners and are protected by the UK copyright laws. 

Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to these Terms & Conditions. You can review the most current version at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms & Conditions by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

The laws of England and Wales will apply at all times regardless of your location when you access/use our website.


Please note our Terms & Conditions and Policies do not apply to TRADE orders.  These are deemed as such if you use a business account/card, i.e. your billing address (required) is against a business. Please note this applies for both billing and delivery addresses for all production, film, TV and associated companies within this industry. We reserve the right to determine whether an order placed is a Trade/Business order. To be very clear Returns are not permitted on any such orders.

We use VS Pay powered by Stripe for payment processing, analytics and other business services. VS Pay powered by Stripe collects and processes personal data, including identifying information about the devices that connect to its services. We accept payments against all major credit cards including Amex along with ApplePay, GooglePay and PayPal. 

It is important that the billing and shipping addresses you provide to us match the addresses registered against the card or account that you use to pay for your order. 

All transactions are carried out in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and our currency converter should be used as a guide only.  We are not responsible for any fluctuations in currencies or local bank charges that you may incur.

When goods are purchased and delivered outside of the UK it is your responsibility to pay any locally imposed taxes, duties and costs that are applicable.  By placing an order with us you are agreeing to these terms.

For all EU orders we require a personal tax identification number (TIN) for orders delivered to a personal address.  Items being delivered to a business address will require an EORI number.  We are unable to ship any products without this information.

At times our payment gateway may ask for additional information, in these instances we will contact you directly. We will request a PAC number (Processor Authorisation Code).  It is a unique number for the specific purchase you make with us and provided by your issuing bank.  We simply ask you to confirm this number with your bank so we can match it to the one registered on our system. Be assured this is simply to prevent fraud and protect you, the cardholder. Any information provided is done so in the strictest of confidence.

All prices, where applicable, are shown including the prevailing UK VAT rate.  Outside of the UK prices are UK VAT free.

All orders have 100% of the order value  taken at the point of order.

Please note if you buy an item at a sale or discounted price and you wish to exchange for another size we can only do this if the alternative size you require is also at the sale/discounted price. Any difference in price will need to be covered by you. Equally should your alternative size be available at a sale/discounted price we will credit the difference if you paid a higher price.

All prices and offers are considered on an invitation to treat basis and we reserve the right to decline any orders placed by you.  An order is considered as accepted once it has been dispatched by us.


Time is not of the essence in these Terms & Conditions of trading.  We will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage  through any delays.

We endeavour to deliver all UK orders within 5 working days, overseas orders may take longer.

We process our orders throught the day (Monday to Friday) and will ship on the same day if the stock is held in our warehouse. Some items will need to be sourced for you personally from our Suppliers which will take a day or so to arrive with us and then we will despatch on an overnight service. We endevour to deliver all orders within a 5 day period. We will contact you if the lead time is going to be longer than this.

We reserve the right to charge any return shipping costs (back to us) and when resending to you should a parcel be returned to us through no fault of our own.

Standard deliveries are made Monday to Friday excluding UK Bank and Public holidays.  They will be delivered by a Courier of our choice and must be signed for. 

We strongly recommend that you do not elect a safe place for delivery or rearrange delivery to another location after it has been dispatched by us as any issues thereafter cannot be supported by us and you will unfortunately need to handle the claim directly with the Courier.



The provision of this clause applies in addition to your statutory consumer rights in relation to faulty or miss-described goods.  These rights are not affected by the guarantees.

For the purposes of this clause the guarantor is Vroom By The Sea Limited t/a The Cafe Racer. Unless otherwise stated all products carry a one year guarantee and cannot be transferred.

Slight surface imperfections are typical of natural leather used in our products and should not be considered defective.

These guarantees do not cover fair wear and tear, neglect, abuse or misuse of your goods, loss or damage including rust or corrosion due to unreasonable exposure to water, heat or weather, fire, smoke, explosion, lightning, theft or accidental damage including those caused by a third party.

We will not be liable for any direct or indirect financial loss arising out of defective, damaged or wrongly delivered items over and above the value of the goods themselves.

Due to the varying nature of motorbikes all descriptions for parts are for reference only and are not a guarantee of their suitability for any specific motorbike.

We will ask you to provide photographs of the issue and proof of purchase in the first instance. Upon proof and acceptance of a warranty fault we will endeavour to repair in the first instance. If a repair is not possible we will offer a replacement to the same value. If a suitable replacement is not possible we will then offer a refund which will be full or partial depending on the length of use you have had of the product. A guide/example of how this works would be £100 spent, you had them for 8 months = £33.34 refund, this being 4 months worth of value remaining.

Any warranty issue with parts in addition to the above you will also need to provide a copy of the qualified mechanics invoice/bill of works who fitted the part for you and their diagnosis of the issue.


We reserve the right to substitute any free gifts if the advertised free gift is temporarily unavailable.

If you return any item you must also return any and all free gifts unused, unopened and fully resaleable.  Any issues or non returns will be deducted from any refund we make to you.

Only one code can be used per order and they cannot be applied once the order has been placed with us.

We reserve the right to exclude any brands or products from any promotional activity or codes including our newsletter sign up code.

We reserve the right to decline any price match request if the price requested renders the order uncommercial for us. 

Requests will only be accepted from a UK authorised dealer of the specific brand (so we can be sure of the products authenticity), in stock in the requested size and colour, and must be at least £1.00 cheaper than us.

The shipping charge for the Retailer will be taken into consideration and we will review other benefits that we offer (such as free returns and exchanges) in the overall comparison.

We will not beat our own price in other market prices.

If the price match is accepted you will be given a unique code valid for 5 days from the date of issue. 


Our Delivery and Returns policies form part of these Terms & Conditions and when you agree to these upon placing an order you are agreeing to adhere to these policies also. These can be found at the footer of our Website, we have seperated them out to ensure we are as clear as possible with regards to our terms of trading.
